Delete your Blist account

You may delete your account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it in the app, what is deleted, and what information may be retained to meet legal obligations.

1. Delete your account in the app (recommended)

The quickest and most direct method is through Blist:

  1. Open the Blist app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom bar.
  3. Open Settings.
  4. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  5. Read the warning, tap Continue, and enter DELETE to confirm.

This action cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account becomes unavailable and the deletion process begins. Neither the account nor its content can be recovered.

2. If you cannot access the app

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email soporte@blist.ai and include:

  • The email address used to create your account.
  • The subject “Delete account”.
  • A brief confirmation that you own the account.

We process requests within 30 calendar days and confirm by email when the process is complete.

3. What is deleted

The following is permanently deleted:

  • Your user account and profile data, including name, email, and photo.
  • People in your care that you created and their treatments.
  • Health profiles, allergies, chronic conditions, rescue medication, and emergency contacts.
  • Care groups, connections with other caregivers, and pending invitations.
  • Dose history, medication records, and stock records.
  • Notification tokens and stored files, including profile photos and photos of people receiving care.
  • Your Blist+ subscription within Blist, subject to the notes below.

Blist+ subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. To prevent further charges, cancel it before deleting the account:

Web subscription through Mercado Pago: if you subscribed to Blist+ on the web, your subscription is cancelled automatically when you delete your account. No additional action is required.

4. Information that may be retained

We may retain the following in anonymized form or to meet legal obligations:

  • Minimum records required by law, such as payment receipts, for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, generally up to 5 years.
  • Aggregated and anonymized data that cannot identify you, used only for product usage metrics.
  • Technical security and diagnostic logs, automatically deleted within 90 days.

5. Time frames

  • Immediately: after confirmation in the app, your account becomes unavailable and deletion begins.
  • Within 30 calendar days: personal data is deleted or anonymized in active systems. For email requests, this period begins after your identity has been verified.
  • Within 90 days: technical logs and backups may remain until their deletion cycle is complete.
